Role Description

The Human Resources Intern will focus on the Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Talent Management aspects of Human Resources. Each intern can decide to focus on a particular aspect of Human Resources or take a more broad approach, based on their interests. This is an unpaid learning opportunity.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Assisting the head of HR with recruiting efforts
  • Learning how to structure a hiring and on-boarding process
  • Sitting in on interviews
  • Assisting the Head of HR with expanding InstaHub's recruiting reach.
  • Attending bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with the Head of HR
  • Attending weekly all-team meetings to present about progress towards learning and project goals
  • Attending weekly HR meetings

Talent Development

  • Assisting the Head of HR with creating a valuable learning experience for the interns
  • Assisting the Head of HR with keeping track of intern progress toward learning goals
  • Reviewing the midterm intern surveys and provide key feedback points to the Head of HR
  • Attending bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with the Head of HR
  • Attending weekly all-team meetings to present about progress towards learning and project goals
  • Attending weekly HR meetings

Talent Management

  • Assisting the Head of HR with keeping track of group projects
  • Working closely with the Project Management Interns to learn valuable skills/practices
  • Keeping track of Intern Progress towards their weekly SMART goals
  • Attending weekly meetings with the Head of HR and the Project Management Interns
  • Attending bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with the Head of HR
  • Attending weekly all-team meetings to present about progress towards learning and project goals
  • Attending weekly HR meetings
